As much as we all love playing and watching disc golf, sadly, sometimes we aren’t able to.
During a busy week or when it starts to get too dark out, I love opening up my favorite app and listening to my favorite disc golf podcasts.
Honestly, there are a lot of people making content about disc golf and it seems to be growing every single day. It’s hard to know where to start, so I’ve put together a list of the best podcasts to listen to if you’re interested in disc golf.

1. SmashBoxxTV’s Disc Golf Podcast
Terry Miller & Jon Van Deurzen host the SmashBoxxTV podcast for two episodes that are around an hour long each week. The podcast was started back in 2015 and has continued to grow in audience size and guests over the years.
They’ve recently had many professional disc golf players on the podcast, including Paige Pierce, Thomas Gilbert, Paul Ulibarri, and Adam Hammes. A video for each episode can be found on the SmashBoxxTV youtube channel, as well as other videos about the disc golf scene.
We talk about the newest information in disc golf. In depth conversations with the game’s top pros. And all the inside information that you won’t find anywhere else.

2. The Disc Golf Podcast
The Disc Golf Podcast is hosted by Joe Hardeman and Robin Brown-Ward and usually offers a good variety of all topics related to disc golf.
The first episode was put out back in 2016 and featured an insight into one of the newest drivers from Innova. Their latest release focused on pro player James Conrad and his noteworthy move to MVP!

The Disc Golf Audio podcast is made up of professional disc golfer Eric McCabe, media director Bobby, and Dynamic Discs team manager Robert McCall. With the hosts being very much involved in disc golf, there’s a lot of value that can be gained all three.
A long-standing podcast, the first episode was released in 2013 and had some great introductions and talks about the future plans for the podcast. It would definitely be an interesting episode to listen to now and see how the podcast matches up to their goals set back then!

The Upshot is hosted by Ultiworld Disc Golf publisher Charlie Eisenhood and Jamie Thomas. There’s a nice journalist approach about all of the biggest topics related to disc golf and its players.
With frequent guests on the show like Kona Panis, James Conrad, and Paul Ulbarri, there’s plenty of diversity and information to learn. Each episode is likely to cover the happenings of professional disc golf players and the results of the recent pro tournaments. I’ve heard plenty of great stories and quotes from the pros who have been previous guests.
From the business of disc golf to the most compelling competition, The Upshot breaks down the biggest topics in the sport.

The On The Box podcast is hosted by Dynamic Discs team member Dixon Jowers. If you’re someone who prefers hearing about statistics, course and player breakdowns, and in-depth coverage about tournaments, definitely check this out.
With Dixons knowledge of the PDGA scene, there’s also a ton of great inside stories that you wouldn’t be able to hear anywhere else. The podcast has been running since 2017, so it’s not that difficult to begin listening and catch up to recent episodes!
