One of my favorite discs to use in all situations is the Mako3. You can tell from the flight numbers that it’s a very stable disc that makes it easy to shape shots.

If you’re looking for a disc that will go perfectly straight through some tight woods or a tunnel shot, you have to try out the Mako3. This midrange from Innova can be thrown slow and smooth, but will also travel a good distance down the fairway with a glide of 4.

The Innova Roc3 is the disc to try out for controlled approach shots to the basket. It’s easy to handle and comfortable to throw backhand. Most people avoid using it for forehands because of the rim and grip that it lacks.

There is a 3 value for fade on this disc, so don’t expect it to travel and finish completely straight like the Mako3. Although it won’t fly straight forever, it does have a predictable fade that’s nice and slow at the end of the flight.
