There are so many features that go into a great putter, and every player has preferences that are important to pay attention to. Although it’s tough at the start to choose a great putter, these are the three biggest factors that I think you should think about when exploring the available putters.
Comfort
The number one factor that makes a disc great for putting is how comfortable it feels for you. Since putting is mostly repetition and consistency, you need to find a disc and plastic mold that will allow you to focus on your release and grip, instead of how it feels in the moment.
Glide
Although every player hopes their putting will be done within 10 feet of the basket, that’s not usually the case. For those longer putts, you’ll want a disc that has a decent amount of glide, otherwise you’ll have to change your form to get enough power and distance for further away putts.
Plastic Options
