7 Best Discs With High Fade (With Photos)

Sometimes the course requires having a disc that can move quickly and fade out at the end. Having a reliable and hard-fading disc will definitely improve your game and make it easier to approach the basket!

These seven discs below are my preference for discs with consistent high fade, including a few different brands to choose from!

Discs WIth High Fade

Discs With the Most Fade

1. Discmania Tilt

The Discmania Tilt is the most unique driver on the market, and it packs one heck of a fade! If you’re looking for a disc that will give you the most fade of any driver out there, then the Tilt is the perfect choice for you.

This is definitely more of a unique utility disc, as a lot of your normal throws won’t get far with a tilt. But, if you have strong form and are looking for the most overstable fading disc, the Tilt is great for those big hyzer shots or long anhyzers.

Flight Ratings: 9 Speed, 1 Glide, 1 Turn, 6 Fade

2. Innova Max

The Innova Max is a very overstable and fast power driver. It’s great for players with maximum power, as it works well in the wind and has lots of fade. It’s also good for strong headwinds and sidearm throwers since it has a comfortable rim and grip. The Max is predictable and dependable in any condition which makes it a good choice for experienced to advanced disc golfers.

3. Innova Monster

Innova Monster

The Innova Monster is another overstable maximum distance driver. It’s best for more experienced players who are looking for a good disc to improve their throwing distance and fade.

The Monster can be thrown in any windy condition and will fade predictably at the end of the flight. I like that it doesn’t actually require much power to get the strong and fast finish that it has.

Players who are newer to disc golf may find the Monster to be a bit too much disc, but more experienced players will love its overstable flight.

Flight Ratings: 10 Speed, 3 Glide, 0 Turn, 5 Fade
Weight: 165g – 175g
Stability: Overstable
Skill Level: Advanced

4. Innova Viper

Innova Viper

The Innovia Viper is an outstanding fairway driver that will provide you with plenty of fade. This driver is perfect for those who are looking for an overstable option that will still provide them with great distance and accuracy.

I do like that it’s a slower speed disc which is perfect for newer players or just anyone hoping their approach shots fades right to the basket.

The Viper has a nice, comfortable grip that makes it easy to control, and the glide isn’t too bad for a fairway driver. If you’re looking for a fairway driver with reliable fade that you can count on, the Innovia Viper is the perfect choice.

Flight Ratings: 6 Speed, 4 Glide, 1 Turn, 5 Fade
Weight: 165g – 180g
Stability: Overstable

5. Innova Whippet

Innova Whippet

The Innova Whippet is the perfect control driver for experienced players who enjoy hyzer or flex shots. With a large hooking fade, this overstable driver provides incredible control and accuracy for those long-distance shots.

Whether you’re looking to beat your personal best or take down the competition, the Innova Whippet is the perfect choice for those looking for maximum performance from their driver.

Flight Ratings: 6 Speed, 3 Glide, 1 Turn, 5 Fade

6. Discraft Crush

Discraft Crush

The Discraft Crush is an overstable distance driver that provides lots of distance and controllable fade. It’s a great choice for windy conditions and even better for forehand throwers.

The Crush has a comfortable grip and flies smoothly through the air while it continues to fade out. It does require some decent arm speed to get the full flight, massive glide, and big fade once it slows down. It’s also a good disc for skip shots that are low and push hard towards one direction.

Flight Ratings: 11 Speed, 5 Glide, 0 Turn, 4 Fade
Weight: 165g – 173g
Stability: Overstable
Skill Level: Advanced

7. Dynamic Discs Felon

The Dynamic Discs Felon is a fairway driver that is perfect for those who are looking for a reliable and strong finish at the end of the flight. This driver is designed with good speed, control, and fade which makes it easier to control and achieve consistent results.

The Felon is also one of the longest flying drivers in the Dynamic Discs lineup, which makes it a great choice for those who want to bomb it off the tee. Whether you’re looking for maximum distance or more accuracy, the Felon is a great option for your next round of disc golf.

Conclusion

When you play tough courses with a lot of left and right movement, having a disc with lots of fade is essential. These discs above are all overstable and will fade hard at the end of the flight.

I wanted to include a good mix of disc types so that players who prefer to throw slower speeds can still get the benefit of a hard fading disc!
