Discraft manufactures its discs in a whole bunch of plastics, with different stability, durability, and cost. I enjoy more overstable midrange discs, so I tend to get the more expensive and durable plastic molds for my midranges. If you’re just looking to try out a new disc, it might be worth choosing the cheaper plastic to test out.
2. Stability
Being that these are midrange discs, they’ll all have pretty similar flight numbers and weights. The biggest difference is the stability of a certain disc. Finding a midrange that matches the stability of your most common throws is key to having a short game that feels easy and complete.
